Description for the Infra-engineer role 

Essential Experience:

•              In-depth technical knowledge of cloud technologies (Azure) – PaaS , IaaS, IAM and Networking

•              Azure DevOps

•              Infrastructure as Code – Preferably Terraform

•              Ansible

•              PowerShell and Azure CLI

•              Automating software build, deployment, and server configuration management

•              Good understanding of cloud security principles and security system monitoring

•              Able to solve complex problems related to the build, deployment and maintenance of platform related issues

•              Networking including protocols, subnetting,  firewalls and hybrid networking

•              Comfortable with web technologies including HTTPS, SSL/TLS, and REST - azure ad / azure entra ID/ azure defender/ security/ hardening

•              Good communication

•              Willing to learn

Desirable:

•              Release management experience

•              Development background

•              Azure Certified e.g. Az-400,Az-500

•              AKS / Kubernetes / Containers

•              Linux

•              SonarQube
