Our client is seeking a Data Engineer to join their growing team and design and deliver modern data platforms and pipelines. You will be responsible for leading the design, development, and delivery of data solutions across Azure and GCP projects, with a focus on modern world class tech such as; Fivetran, dbt, Databricks, BigQuery and Azure Data Factory.
Majority remote, 4 days remote, 1 onsite. (Further afield, less remote)
Required skills;
- Strong technical knowledge across Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with Fivetran, dbt, Databricks, BigQuery, Azure Data Factory, and related tools.
- Strong SQL and Python skills.
- Designing and optimising data models and storage across cloud data warehouses.
- Unity Catalog or similar governance/cataloguing tools.
- DevOps practices, CI/CD, Git-based workflows, and infrastructure-as-code.
